Groovin’ Girls

This group is for girls 7-12 years old with a neurodivergent diagnosis or questioning*. Led by a music therapist, the group has an opportunity to connect with each other through drumming, recreating favorite songs on instruments, singing, and song-writing. This is a social group in which we work on advocating for our wants and needs, voicing opinions, sharing thoughts, and providing and receiving constructive feedback to and from our peers. This group also includes opportunities non-verbal and musical conversations through improvisational instrument playing. This group is meant to be a safe space to explore sounds and musical ideas and is highly collaborative.

This is a 10-week commitment, with holidays off. This allows for the group to build rapport.
